Brothers Andy and Michael Futreal
Whenever we can get together — Andy lives in the UK and I live in the US — we record original music for stringed instruments. Once upon a time, back when we both lived in NC, we called ourselves The Offramps, but we're just us these days.
Our music gets around the map: it's Primitive American. African-influenced. Avant American. Sometimes it's post-blues. It's acoustic. Sometimes it's electric. Mostly, it's improvisational, so, heck, we don't even know what's going to happen.
