Goin' to See Lead Belly
Over the weekend, my brother Bill was in town. Among other things, we drove out in the country near Mooringsport, LA to pay tribute at the grave of Lead Belly.
Bill also made a short movie documenting the trip.
Is that Leadbelly or Lead Belly?
I always thought it was "Leadbelly," but the grave marker said otherwise. That would seem, literally, to be the last word on the matter.
